What’s no longer true for you?

“Tamsyn, it can no longer be about the money”

This is what a client stated to me this week, in a 1-2-1 session.

We were discussing what the new future may look like for her in her work and life.

And for many people, they often say it’s about the money.

On the surface.

The money being the thing they think they are hanging out for, or the reason why that can’t make the change, do the thing, take the leap, change the job, leave the relationship….

When you dig down though, it’s often not really about the money at all.

It could be something else.

Because a better question could be asked.

Like, if it’s no longer about X (insert relevant thing here) then what could it be about?

What are you wanting to move towards, rather than run away from?

When we know we need to make change, we can find ourselves getting super busy, to avoid thinking about the thing that needs to change.

Can you allow yourself just for this week, to be curious about what is and isn’t working?

And just sit with it and the curiosity of what could be.

No judgement.

But what are you tolerating that’s holding you back?

Truly.

And what could you do differently if that wasn’t the case anymore.

If it’s no longer about something that’s served you well in the past, what is it about now?

And how could you call more of that into your life and your work?

With love,

Tamsyn x
