Lists of everything
I’m sitting in a hotel lobby this morning.
It’s a nice one.
Waiting for one of my lovely clients to arrive.
We are working together all day, in person ( please add link to discovery call booking )
A VIP day that's all about her career pivot plan for the year ahead.
As I am waiting, I’m clocking the hotel stationary.
It talks about lists.
Lists for everything.
Notes to self
Shopping lists
Strange ideas
Cunning plans
Impure thoughts
Immeasurably fascinating ramblings
My list of things I was right about
Things to do before I die
Plans for world domination
And so on…
How long is my to-do list?
How long is yours?
How much of the list actually gets done.
How much of it is actually in service of you and the things that light you up?
Versus a list of obligations to others or just plain old overwhelming noise.
Action versus activity.
Is your list lifting you up or holding you down?
And what would happen if you just didn't do the things.
On the list.
Or maybe just bin the list?
And start a new one. A smaller one. A kinder one.
A list that contains only joyful things that support you, your work, your world.
A love list.
Just for you.
