The season of being

There is a season for everything.

A time to clear the ground.

A time to plant seeds.

A time to grow.

A time to harvest.

I’m away this week on a retreat.

Lots of exploration around seasons.

The seasons of nature.

The seasons of life.

How the world we live in, especially our worlds of work demands so much of us.

That we are in a perpetual season of doing. Pushing. Striving. Delivering.

And my all time favorite, grinding it out.

There is a season for everything.

And we cannot always be harvesting.

Sometimes we just need to be being.

Rather than doing.

Resting rather than running.

Listening rather than talking.

Allowing ourselves to be in winter.

Just before we emerge into spring.

With love
